Painters and Dockers featuring Jeremy Oxley
NOW THIS IS GOING TO BE A SPECIAL ONE.
After huge crowds and stunning reviews from shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, two of the greats of Australian rock, the inimitable PAINTERS AND DOCKERS and the legendary JEREMY OXLEY of THE SUNNYBOYS, will bring their combined show to The GOV Saturday June 13.
At this unique event Oxley will join The Dockers on stage during their set to perform several old Sunnyboy classics.
Jeremy Oxley is thrilled to be back on stage again. “I love being involved with The Dockers. They have always been such a fun band. I’m personally a huge fan. It’s a perfect match for me.”
“It will be awesome to bring the show to Adelaide, as we have had such great fun performing with Jeremy in the other states,’’ said Dave Pace from the Painters and Dockers, who is an Adelaide local, and inducted member of the South Australian Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
“We have known Jeremy for many years, as both the Sunnyboys and The Painters and Dockers, were managed by Australian rock legend, Lobby Loyld in the 1980’s.”
“The Painters and Dockers played many of the Australian dates on the last ever Sunnyboys tour, which included a show in Sydney at the Enmore Theatre, in front of a packed house that included Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese.”
Supporting this unique double act at The Gov will be local Adelaide based legends, Velvet Moth.
